Trying to find out the best routes? The best thing to do is use a program called "MabiCommerce". This isn't a mod or a hack. It is a program that calculates what is the best route in order to maximize profits.
First manually type in the value for each good for each town. Select your modes of transportation (wagon..etc). Then hit calculate and it will tell you where is the best place to go. It even calculates what type of bandits you will fight based on the ducats your spent and location !!.
